We are seeking an initiative-taking and highly organized Paralegal to support the General Counsel’s office in managing legal operations and advancing corporate initiatives. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen legal support capabilities across the organization while improving efficiency in document management, legal administration, drafting, and execution of strategic legal projects.

Legal & Administrative Support

Senior/Lead Winder

The Senior / Lead Winder is responsible for the rewinding, repair, and testing of three-phase electric motors and generators, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and technical accuracy. This role serves as a technical leader within the winding team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support while ensuring all work meets company standards, customer specifications, and applicable safety requirements.

  • Perform complete rewind and repair of three-phase AC motors and generators, including form coil and random wind applications (Rotor and Stator).
  • Analyze motor/generator failures and determine appropriate repair methods.

  • Lead and support less experienced winders through training, troubleshooting, and quality oversight.

The Winder is responsible for the rewinding, repair, and testing of three-phase electric motors and generators, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and technical accuracy. This role ensures all work meets company standards, customer specifications, and applicable safety requirements.

  • Rewinding & Repair: Perform stator rewinds, rotor repairs, end winding repairs, and wedge installation.
  • Insulation & Component Insulation: Line slots with insulation, apply epoxy resins, paints and putties.
  • Electrical Testing: Perform tests including Megger, digital low-resistance ohmmeter, and high-potential testing.
  • Mechanical Work: Disassemble and assemble generator components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices.
  • Safety & Documentation: Adhere to strict Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, maintain housekeeping, and record production data.
  • Experience: 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience, often specifically in generator, or motor repair, including 3-phase rotor windings.  We are willing to train into this position.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, ability to read blueprints/schematics, and proficiency in brazing.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 70+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and work in high-noise/high-temperature environments.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in field conditions, including internationally.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Zephyr Repower is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wind Industry Quality Assurance Representative to join our growing team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining quality standards across a variety of wind energy repowering and construction projects throughout the Midwest region. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, a strong commitment to industry best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • Conduct comprehensive quality assurance inspections and audits throughout all phases of wind energy project development, installation, and repowering.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to ensure consistent delivery of superior quality results.
  • Interface with project managers, construction crews, and external partners to provide technical guidance and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Document and report findings, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across assigned projects.
  • Participate in training programs and promote a culture of safety, transparency, and operational excellence.
  • Travel to various field sites within the Midwest region as required to support project objectives.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint (document management, inspection uploads) and Excel (trackers, inspection logs, material verification).
    • Familiarity with digital construction management and field inspection software platforms.
    • Ability to interpret SWIs, lift plans, QA checklists, civil/electrical drawings, and WTG schematics.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk turbine sites, enter foundations, climb turbines when required, and work in variable weather conditions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with subcontractors, foremen, and client representatives.
  • Certifications: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively. OSHA or similar safety certifications are preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Experience documenting critical inspections and verifying material/equipment compliance in field settings.

Major Corrective Task Force Specialist

Major Corrective Task Force Specialists specialize in large corrective maintenance of wind turbine generators. They support in safely executing main component exchanges and up tower repair services on wind turbines as directed. Technicians are knowledgeable in procedures, schematics, H&S protocols/procedures, turbine main component disassembly and assembly, drive train shrink elements, troubleshooting, rigging, crane signaling (hand & radio), LOTO, standard and specialized tooling, etc. As required, they assist in dismantling, erecting, aligning, adjusting, and/or maintaining machinery and equipment according to installation manuals, work instructions, layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings. MCE Specialists are members of a team consisting of at least one MCE Lead and are assigned to various project types throughout the country. Technicians are expected to travel to remote client sites for short or long periods of time to complete the assigned scope. Travel is on a rotational basis of 6 weeks of work and 1 week off for Rest & Relaxation

  • Perform large component exchanges, catastrophic events, Repowers, and other services on multiple platform manufactures and models.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues with the turbines and tooling.
  • Perform administrative functions such as: daily logs, time entry, safety documentation, quality reports, procedure validations, writing technical reports, and preparing job status reports.
  • Ensure proper tooling care, use, and tracking.

The Technical Advisor (TA) is an onsite project oversight role who provides technical support and supervision to technical crews working on various project types. Responsible for disassembly, inspection, final assembly and test of wind turbine drivetrains and gear boxes in remanufacturing shop work environment. Working under direct supervision of the Facilities Manager. Working primarily on the shop floor in the main shop. Equipment used includes hand tools, power tools, air tools, overhead cranes, rigging, bearing pullers, presses, etc.

Level 1 Technician

  • Adhere strictly to ZEPHYR Job EHS & PPE Requirements.
